7. VLOG #3: Sailing at midnight in a frozen ice world
One of the most eye popping and jaw dropping experiences I ever had was when I set sail on a polar expedition ship towards the huge icebergs floating from the Kangia icefjord into Disco Bay at midnight. The arctic polarsun was barely setting and the at first sharp and bright reddish sunlight starts to wane into soft pastellike pinks. But although spectacular, it’s not the sunset which popped my eyes but it was its ever changing reflection of colors on the icebergs that dropped my jaw and I hope yours too… Greenland is truely an underrated country by tourism on the edge of the wild?

Hi there,
I noticed that you have posted beautiful photographs on Instagram of Greenland and found your page via your hashtags. I am a guest researcher at Visit Greenland and we are currently gathering data to investigate how photographs of Greenland’s nature shapes tourist’s expectations of the country.
All the very best from Nuuk,
Hannah Patterson.
