Today a relatively short (13km) track, through the valley of the Alesjaure river.

First we visited the Alesjaure hutts of the STF, to buy some supplies like bread and fresh fruit and to ask for weather conditions in the next couple of days. Weather seemed get better.

In the beginning, the river meandered beautifully through the glacial landscape. The route is now continuously marked by stacks of stones, the top stone of which is painted orange.

We pass beautiful landscapes and sometimes walk over peat pollen, which bounce under our feet, then over sharp stones and to the end of the route we climb through increasingly rocky surroundings and growing snow fields up to the Tjäktja huts where we pitched our tent. In the evening we enjoyed the beautiful colors of the low polar sun.
